The vast majority of business leaders in Canada believe that there is a skills shortage in the IT industry, according to a survey. A report from the Strategic Counsel revealed that 90 per cent of respondents believe that there is a skills shortage in Canada. Among the possible solutions for this is an increase in Canada immigration.
Also revealed in the survey was that 90 per cent of information officers in Canada believe that the problem is "serious. Over 1,000 executives, professionals and students were interviewed earlier this month in order to compile the survey. People in the IT industry who are looking at Canada immigration can apply for a Canadian skilled worker visa in order to move to the country to work.

Canada has an estimated population of around 33 million and the official languages of the country are English and French.

Canada welcomes new immigrants: The Canadian Visa Bureau can assist skilled workers interested in Canadian immigration. More information on Canadian visas is available on the website. Anyone applying for a Canadian visa should begin by completing the online Canadian visa application to see if they meet the legislative requirements.
