    Hello everyone,
    I have been granted a refugee status in Canada and I applied for a PR card.
    I'm just wondering whether I can go to visit my family back home after I get the PR card or not?
    If not, when will I be able to do so?

    I would appreciate a comment from an expert.

    As you've been granted refugee status so even after getting PR it isn't a good idea to go back to your home country, if you mentioned that there's a threat to your life in your home country as then the authorities will have doubts on your case.
    after becoming citizen, it is safer.
