   If someone is living in canada with expired status , he/she is in non compliance with the act. Non-Compliance is not as serious as Inadmissibility .
   
   Non-compliance: means you directly or indirectly failed to satisfy the requirements of the Act or Regulations. Some examples are as follows:
   
   you were not examined when you entered Canada;
   you did not obtain a temporary resident visa (TRV);
   your visa expired before you entered Canada;
   you did not have a passport or it expired before you entered Canada;
   you overstayed your period of authorized stay; or
   you worked or studied without authorization (a permit).
   
   Usually most of the non-compliance issues are resolved automatically over a specified period of time . Example 6 months or so. You can again apply to enter canada from your home country after specified time has passed .

   The problem is related to I stayed in Canada more than 6 months (I didn't leave the country on time).

   if you over-stayed in canada then its an issue of non-compliance. Non-compliance issue is automatically solved after some duration of time has passed . usually 6 months. So you can reapply after 6 months .

   hi there....i came to canada in Aug 2004..im still residing with my mom bcus she is a PR and her hsuband is a citizen...they both sponsored me since then and i still havnt be accepted...when i came here my stay wasnt extended ..im not allowed to have a work nor study permint and its very frustrating a...ive been told that ill probably hav eto wait another three yrs b4 the first stage of approval...is there anything i can do??

   you can try for TRP , if you can prove a very valid ground for your stay in canada. Temporary Resident Permit [TRP} can be extended upto 3 yrs.

   I am venezuelan profesional interior desing diploma holder. I am on my second visitor visa extension which expires on sep 30. My friend says he could employ me at his kitchen desing studio which is my field if I can get a work permit?

   Few types of work-permits don't need LMO but in your case you would need HRDSC LMO [Laboour market Opinion] for the job offer . For that you need to apply in advance .

    Hi there i am an illegal immigrant living and working in Canada sad of me to be saying so, but i would like to fix all this and get my self back on track.. My girlfriend and i have been speaking about it for months now and i need to take steps now.. She is Canadian is there any way that she can make thing easy for me as for me getting any sort of papers or stay.. Cause i would love to take her to visit my homeland someday.. she is just so afraid that they will ask me to leave the country if i do take the step and apply..     I have been here for3 years now on a skilled LMO with my family. My husband has open work permit and my sons have student permit. I have applied under federal skilled for my PR 8 months ago. I have received my file number. My problem is my company does not want to renew my permit. So do I have any other option because my permit expires in July. I want to stay here because my boys education will be affected if I leave and also we are well settled here.

    Well you should have received request for medicals/security by now. The only problem could be if they call you for an interview in USA as usually the US embassy doesn't give visitor visa if your status is about to expire in Canada. So may be you can try to enroll in some course and extend your stay by getting student visa. This way you can study and still be with status in Canada till your PR application doesn't go through.
